Description
Oxy-EVO PPA Oxygen and Purge Pressure Analyzer
Precise purging is essential for controlling weld quality, particularly when welding high-alloy, corrosion-resistant materials. The Oxy-EVO PPA Oxygen Analyzer can be connected to our controllers for monitoring ID purge quality as part of the programmed weld schedule parameters. Through regulation of the inside purge pressure for smaller tube diameters perfect flat and repeatable welding seams can get achieved. The entered oxygen value (in ppm) in the controller is arbitrary. If not otherwise imperatively prescribed, a value of < 30 ppm is generally sufficient at the beginning of the welding process. Welding will not commence until the measured value drops below the programmed threshold. The analyzer is calibrated to measure in the for welding relevant range below 30ppm up to +/- 2ppm precise.
The addition of the purge pressure module provides a fully ‘magnahelic’ function for setting and monitoring the ID purge pressure. An added benefit of combining this function within the Oxy-EVO is that ID purge pressure values will be monitored and recorded along with all other QA record programmed parameters.
The Oxy-EVO PPA Oxygen Analyzer includes a large high resolution touch screen panel and a simple navigation menu. The screen also provides a graphic display of the measured values. The colors on the display help to display figures outside of the setpoint values.
This device also comes equipped with an interface to allow for communication with orbital controllers and a USB interface to allow for the storing and retrieval of information form the analyzer.
Equipped with user adjustable alarm limits and thresholds. In addition to the alarms there are also audible key tones to correspond with the actions made on the digital interface.
Bluetooth comparable and has the ability to update its software to newer versions.
Includes Mutiple languages and translations
Oxy-EVO can be used for the following measurements:
• Oxygen content in inert gases (e.g. argon, helium, nitrogen)
• Oxygen content in forming gases (e.g. H2 2%, 5% & 10% in argon or N2)
• Oxygen content in special gases (e.g. argon-nitrogen-hydrogen gas mixtures)
• Differential pressure inside pipes (PPA extension, optional)
The analyzer is operated via a touch screen.
